Robin R. Crespo

Robin Crespo is the CEO, Founder and Designer behind ING Activewear. Established in 2006, the design company creates original fabric and apparel with world impact. Robin has worked and studied with some of the top designers around the world and has collaborated with innovators such as Brazil's Kikorpo and England's Jason Hunt of the Crazy Bear Group. Partnering with Guy Wood of 5001 FLAVORS, Robin has also worked with the entertainment industry's biggest names like Alicia Keys, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Will Smith among others. Purposed to create clothing with deeper value, Robin released a 100% water bottle recycled bathing suit line under ING Activewear in 2010. The fabric, which he engineered years prior, is featured in international shows including The House of Dancing Water at the City of Dreams in Macau, China and the LeReve show at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

Robin also launched a revolutionary mosquito repellent fabric garment under ING Activewear called Moskeeto Armor™, currently in use in Uganda and India to combat malaria and other insect-borne diseases like Dengue fever and Lyme disease. Out of this movement Robin initiated Code Purple Event – a non-profit extension of ING Activewear and bi-annual fashion show. CPE, which launched in New York City closing fashion week in February 2012, promotes awareness about malaria from the platform of high fashion.

Michel Gibbs

Michel graduated from Pratt Institute, NY with a degree in Communications Design, concentration in Advertising Art Direction and has taught at Nassau Community College. Michel is the Creative Director of Art and a Partner at ING Activewear. He has created, developed and currently manages the creative branding and is responsible for client brands and art associated with the company's apparel. He is also the Creative Director for the film 5 on Monday. Michel joins ING Activewear with a wealth of traditional advertising/branding and digital experience with major clients like Gatorade, 3 Musketeers, Diageo (Smirnoff, Captain Morgan and Crowne Royal), Nikon, AT&T, Verizon, USPS and Motorola.

Michel brings 20 years of training and experience in advertising design, marketing, new business, digital and branding. He has designed, written and produced print, radio, TV, digital and social assets. He's worked at various advertising agencies in roles ranging from Graphic Designer to Senior Art Director servicing clients such as Quaker Oats, Nutriment, Mystic Beverages, Merck, and Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

In 1998, he co-founded Chelsea Harlem Digital, a full-service digital agency. As Executive Creative Director, he actively secured and successfully designed and implemented digital solutions for AT&T, USPS, Glaxo Wellcome, and Motorola. In 2007, Gibbs won an ANA Award for Advertising Excellence (Radio, TV, Print and Out-of-Home) for the National Anti-Drug PSA campaign, Above the Influence, for the Office National Drug Control Policy and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

Evan Rummel

Evan Rummel is the Director of Innovation and technical master behind ING Activewear's video content. He is also the Director for 5 on Monday. Evan is a photographer and videographer passionate about using his skills to bring hope and restoration to his colleagues and subjects alike. Evan has been shooting since 2003, honing his technical genius in 17 countries from Afghanistan to Australia. He also served in the US Army for 8 years as an Infantryman, including a 16-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His recent projects featured Juarez, Mexico, Haiti and Uganda and the humanitarian efforts of Touch the World Ministries and Wings of Refuge Children's Home working on the ground. He most recently led and directed a team of photographers and videographers for Code Purple Event closing Fashion Week in February 2012.

Crystal Burey

Crystal Burey is the Representative and Copywriter for ING Activewear, often called "the voice" behind the brand. She spearheads the various social media outlets, Code Purple Event's blog, and all written material for ING Activewear and its affiliated brands. Crystal is a Posse Foundation Scholar, educated in Studio Art and Economics at Lafayette College where she earned a B.A. and numerous accolades for her artistic contributions to the college highlighting social and cultural issues through visual art, original audio content and thesis. Crystal's written voice is developed from her work as a Journalist in Milan, Italy, Freelance Writer for companies ranging from banking to fashion, Blog Writer and experiences as a collegiate Fashion Journalist and Advertising Editor. Crystal has traveled to several countries including Ecuador – where she worked with the Shuar village in the Amazon – Italy, France and Spain among others. She has an affinity for foreign language and is zealous about spreading the mission of Code Purple Event and Moskeeto Armor to international readers through the illustration of the written word. Crystal is screenwriting for 5 on Monday and developing a non-fiction book to follow its release.

Mike Leonard, Over the Edge Productions

Mike Leonard is the Owner and Founder of Over the Edge Productions, a New York based television and video production company. Things like concept development, ENG crews and edit suites make OTE a one-stop shop for any production need all under one roof. From MTV reality shows, to commercial shoots in Japan, to documentaries in the most remote parts of Central Africa, OTE has done it all and done it well. Mike started OTE in 2005 to merge his television career and side projects into one. His career has spanned over various areas of production including Director of Photography, Editor, Director and Producer. Mike wears multiple hats while producing/directing various non-fiction television programming, music videos as well as commercial and video marketing campaigns. Their client list spans over 20 brand name companies including Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Sony, BBC, Mercedez Benz, and Guess Jeans.
